Sarah Bard, MBA, is a lifelong advocate for small business, a former government and tech leader, and is now focused on helping small businesses harness AI. She began her career as a community organizer and volunteer on Main Street and in small business communities, and went on to serve on five U.S. presidential campaigns. She was appointed by the White House to the U.S. Small Business Administration, first as Director of Community Initiatives and later, following a promotion, as Assistant Administrator for Public Engagement. There, her work centered on expanding access for small business communities to programs supporting capital, counseling, and contracting.
